Catalysing nature recovery
across Sussex and beyond

Fully functional ecosystems are essential for the future of people and our planet. There is an urgent need to restore the systems on which all species – including our own - depend.

The Knepp Wildland Foundation was founded to galvanise nature recovery across Sussex and contribute to the reversal of our biodiversity crisis. We work with land managers, conversation partners, government and communities to support the recovery of our landscape and species, with a particular focus on the next generation.

#GreenMatchFund: Can you help us rewild our skies?

For the next five days the Big Give will DOUBLE all donations to the White Stork Project. But only if we meet our target of £25,000!

This is the perfect opportunity to back this extraordinary project and help restore white storks as British breeding birds after 600 years of absence.

Please donate and share widely

For a dose of hope in action, watch newly hatched stork chicks at Knepp navigating their early days on our first live stork nest camera. With your help, these chicks will be tracked as they grow, migrate and, with luck, return to Sussex as part of a new era for white storks in the UK.
