Support us

We are grateful for all the support we receive from our donors, funders and volunteers.

We have a bold and ambitious strategy for restoring ecosystems across Sussex. We are committed to harnessing our knowledge and experience to inform national recovery strategies.

To achieve this, we need to raise funds that can help ensure we act with speed, agility and independence. We will always using funds in the most effective way possible to achieve nature recovery at scale.

We also value the time and energy given to us by our volunteers and the hard work of our partners and regional community groups helping to deliver this important work.

Thank you

  • Weald to Waves is breaking new ground in community-led nature recovery. Your support will help us to carry out research into biodiversity and connectivity across Sussex, informing land management plans and local nature recovery projects.

  • The cost of training is cited as one of the biggest barriers to young people securing jobs in nature recovery. £100 can cover a day of residential training for a young person and help to build a new generation to take forward this vital work.

Raise money for nature recovery

  • We know that many of our supporters will be keen runners, cyclists, walkers, swimmers, climbers and paddle boarders.

Why not challenge yourself this year to attempt a distance or new route and raise vital funds for nature recovery? We would love to have you on our team!

No amount or distance is too small. We can help you set up a sponsored outdoor activity and support you in your fundraising. Contact Bonnie, our Partnerships Lead, to discuss you next steps.

  • Whether it is in celebration of a birth, a wedding or a big birthday, you can help to raise valuable funds for our work on nature recovery. Set up a free JustGiving page and share the link with friends and family to ask for donations instead of, or alongside, other gifts. Contact us if we can be of any help in any way.

  • Setting up a collection in memory of a loved one can be a wonderful tribute to someone, particularly for those with a love of nature and conservation. We know Knepp is a special place for many people.

  • We are interested in developing strong long-term relationships with organisations and businesses that share our values and our commitment to nature recovery leadership.

By supporting our Foundation, you will send a clear message to staff, customers, suppliers and your communities that you put nature and the sustainability of our future at the forefront of your decision-making.

This year, we are looking for sponsorship to establish the Weald to Waves corridor, as well as sponsors for our new bursary and placement scheme, getting more young people from diverse backgrounds into nature recovery.

We have regular events and research publications coming up that may align with the values and interest of your organisation.

If you're interested in sponsoring something specific we'd be happy to discuss this with you. Please get in touch with us via email here
