Dave, a founding trustee of the Knepp Wildland Foundation, has a background in accountancy and previous trustee experience with the Sussex Wildlife Trust, alongside his current role with the Western Sussex Rivers Trust. He is the Technical Director and COO of Heat Mat Ltd. and, as of April 2024, a freelance ecologist and surveyor with Lughurst Ecology, drawing on over 25 years of ornithological survey experience.
