Weald to Waves Landscape Advisor
We are establishing a 100 mile nature corridor across Sussex. As our land manager community grows, we need to provide advice and guidance, conduct habitat mapping and support the wider development of the Weald to Waves corridor.
We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Landscape Advisor to join our team. This role serves as a crucial link between the project and local farmers and land managers, providing guidance on agricultural practices, habitat creation and restoration, natural capital and funding opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the Sussex landscape and experience of working with our farming sector, ideally from a farming background. We are looking for someone with an active interest in nature friendly farming, ecosystem services, habitat surveying and collaborative working.

Young Guide
Paid Training Placement:
1st May 2025 – 1st October 2026
8 hours a week | £12.50 per hour
As part of our Wild Futures project, we are committed to creating paid opportunities for young people. Following a successful first year, our Young Guides programme is now welcoming applications to be part of the next cohort for the upcoming season.
Position Description
You will begin by supporting experienced guides, gradually taking on more responsibility over guiding schools and other visitors around Knepp as you gain expertise. There will also be opportunities to contribute to new educational resources, and play a key role in youth events, surveys and other projects. Once training is complete, there may be opportunities for ongoing roles within Knepp and our partnership network.
We are looking for:
Open to 18–25 year olds living or studying in Sussex. While we welcome applicants from all work and educational backgrounds, you will need to have a confident understanding of rewilding and UK ecology, and access to your own transport to Knepp. DBS checks will be carried out.

Foundation Volunteer
We have a community of active volunteers who support our fundraising, community engagement and project delivery. Much of this support is delivered remotely but there are regular opportunities to work together at Knepp and other project sites. Volunteers give their time freely in return for new skills and networks in nature recovery.
