  • Weald to Waves: Landscape Advisor

    Weald to Waves: Landscape Advisor

    4-day/week (with scope to increase to full time)

    Over 70% of Sussex is farmed. The success of the Weald to Waves corridor relies on positive engagement with farmers and land managers, supporting them to collaborate at a landscape scale.

    We are looking for:
    A knowledgeable Landscape Advisor to join our team. This dynamic role will will serve as a crucial link between our project and local farmers and land managers, offering support and guidance to farmers and land managers across Sussex for habitat creation, river restoration and species recovery.

    The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the Sussex landscape and experience of working with our farming sector. We are looking for someone with an active interest in natural capital, ecosystem services and Nature Recovery Networks.

  • Young Guides (18-25 years)


    Part time seasonal role (One morning/week)

    This year, we are launching Wild Futures, a new youth engagement programme for the next generation of nature recovery leaders. At the heart of this is a training and job creation scheme and we are currently recruiting 3 new Young Guides who can lead family walks at Knepp during Spring and Summer months.

    We are looking for:
    Three young people to train as Walking Guides for under 12s and their families. We are looking for engaging storytellers with a good grounding in the principles of rewilding and a natural ability to connect with families.

    This is a paid role with a minimum commitment of one morning a week for 24 weeks (Wed, Sat or Sun). Applicants must be aged 18-25, live or work in Sussex, have access to their own transport to and from Knepp.

  • REOPENING SOON: Weald to Waves Project Lead


    Full-time role (4-day week possible)

    Weald to Waves is a visionary 100-mile nature recovery corridor across Sussex. Bringing together land managers, businesses and communities, we aim to create, connect and conserve a ribbon of habitats from the forests of the High Weald to the kelp forests of the Sussex Bay.

    We are looking for:
    A dedicated and experienced Project Lead to develop and deliver on our strategy for the corridor, represent the project at regional and national levels, build partnership networks and manage a growing project team.

  • Foundation Volunteer


    Ongoing voluntary role

    We have a community of active volunteers who support our fundraising, community engagement and project delivery. Much of this support is delivered remotely but there are regular opportunities to work together at Knepp and other project sites. Volunteers give their time freely in return for new skills and networks in nature recovery.
